Camps and Conferences in the PC(USA)
At Peace Presbyterian Church, we believe that spiritual growth doesn’t just happen in the pews—it blossoms around campfires, on mountaintops, in dorm rooms, and in joyful worship with friends old and new. That’s why we actively support and participate in PC(USA) camps and conferences, where children, youth, and adults encounter God in fresh and powerful ways.
Sacred Space Beyond Peace
PC(USA) camps and conferences are more than just fun getaways—they are sacred spaces where people of all ages explore faith in creative, immersive settings, build lifelong friendships, step away from daily routines to listen more closely to God’s voice, and grow in leadership, compassion, and discipleship. Time apart in God’s creation helps us live more fully into our identity as followers of Christ and deepens our connection with the broader church.
At Peace, we participate in these sacred spaces through Cedarkirk Camp & Conference Center, Montreat Youth Conference, and the Montreat Worship & Music Conference. Each offers unique opportunities for worship, play, learning, and renewal—and our congregation is richer because of them.

Montreat Youth Conference
Each summer, our high school students travel to Montreat, a nationally recognized PC(USA) conference center in the mountains of North Carolina. Alongside youth from across the country, they experience engaging speakers, small group discussions, inspiring worship, recreation, and plenty of laughter. This week is often a milestone in faith formation—one our youth look forward to year after year.

Cedarkirk Camp and Conference Center
Just outside Tampa, Cedarkirk is our Presbytery’s beloved camp and retreat center along the Alafia River. From summer camp adventures to retreats for all ages, leadership opportunities, and family programs, Cedarkirk is a place where faith, community, and the beauty of creation come together. Many in our congregation have experienced its transformative power of worship, play, and belonging.

Worship and Music Conference
Each summer, the Presbyterian Association of Musicians hosts this weeklong gathering in the mountains of North Carolina. Musicians, pastors, worship leaders, and families come together to worship in creative, spirit-filled ways, learn in workshops and lectures, and rejoice in the beauty of music and the arts—returning home refreshed and inspired for ministry.
