This summer, we will journey through some of the well known words of the Sermon on the Mount as we consider the Beatitudes. Through the Beatitudes, Jesus shared some ethical instructions on how we can live a blessed life. Yet, in many cases, the real meaning of his words is something different than what we expect. In worship this summer, we will unpack the real meaning of each Beatitude, one by one, and see what really leads to a blessed life. Together, we will see how the Beatitudes show us the Way of the Cross.
