For the Kids. The youngsters will certainly enjoy the music and many will be dancing their hearts out. But, there’s plenty to do just for them, and the young at heart, of course.
All the kids love face painters...unicorns, dragons, rainbows, and whatever else they can think of to adorn their faces. And, weren’t we all enthralled watching the balloon artist stretch that tiny piece of elastic, stretch it some more, and then with a mighty gust of air from deep down in the lungs make it grow so very long. Then, that balloon artist somehow twisted and turned that colorful balloon into the very object we had requested!
Talk about creating something we cherished with a huge smile on our faces, it was the caricature artist with his colorful pencils of charcoal! We sat still, waiting impatiently to see what we were going to look like. Somehow, we were never disappointed.
There will be no charge whatsoever for the balloon artist or face painter. To have your caricature come to life on the artist’s easel, there will be a modest charge of just $10 for one image and $15 for two images. 100% of the proceeds will go towards sending a team of Peace youth to Haiti to help in the rebuilding effort.
The highlight of the entertainments will be the stupefying magic of nationally touring magician, Dave Rojahn. Dave has been making audiences “wonder how” for three decades and he’s told us that he will be bring some seldom before seen routines to make us smile and scratch our heads.
